Trust Isn't a Verification Method

Most patrol operations still run on paper logs and good faith. GuardMap changes that.

Without GuardMap

Paper logs that can be filled in from the truck — or the couch
No proof a property was actually visited, just a checkmark
Route planning by memory and habit, not optimization
Boards ask "are we actually being patrolled?" — no good answer
Vacation watch requests tracked on sticky notes and spreadsheets

With GuardMap

NFC tags at every property — officers tap to verify presence
GPS coordinates, timestamps, and NFC verification on every check
Routes auto-optimized by location and driving distance
Real-time dashboard shows exactly what's been checked and when
Vacation watches scheduled online, merged into daily routes automatically

Everything Your Patrol Operation Needs

Built for the way residential security actually works — from NFC tags on fence posts to board reports on Monday morning.

NFC-Verified Checks

Tamper-proof NTAG 424 DNA tags at each property. Officers tap to prove they were there — no faking, no shortcuts, cryptographically verified.

Live Patrol Map

See every property, every subdivision, every visit on a real-time map. Color-coded pins show what's been checked and what's still pending.

Route Optimization

Auto-generated patrol routes optimized by driving distance. Starts and ends at the team's office. One click to open in Google Maps.

Daily Shift Log

Every shift documented automatically. Check-ins, property visits, NFC taps, issues reported — all timestamped and tied to specific officers and routes.

Vacation Watch

Homeowners schedule extra property checks while they're away. Requests merge into daily routes automatically. Add-on services available.

Team Management

Full personnel records, multi-team assignment, emergency contacts, badge tracking. Assign teams to routes, track who's on shift, manage your entire patrol operation.

From Tag to Dashboard in Seconds

A complete verification loop that takes less time than filling out a paper form.

1

Tags Installed

Small, weatherproof NFC tags are placed at each property — on a gate, post, or utility box. One-time setup.

2

Officer Taps

During patrol, the officer holds their phone to the tag. One tap captures: identity, time, GPS, and cryptographic proof.

3

Data Syncs

The visit records instantly to the GuardMap dashboard. Shift summaries, route progress, and issue reports update in real time.

4

Board Reports

Management sees verified patrol data — not trust. Daily summaries, weekly reports, and full audit trails on demand.

Common Questions

NFC (Near Field Communication) tags are small, durable chips that can be attached to a gate post, utility box, or any fixed surface at a property. When a patrol officer holds their smartphone within a few centimeters of the tag, it instantly records a verified visit — capturing the officer's identity, GPS coordinates, timestamp, and a cryptographic signature that proves the tag was physically tapped. No batteries needed, and the tags last years outdoors.
GuardMap uses NTAG 424 DNA tags with AES-128 encryption. Each tap generates a unique, one-time cryptographic code that can't be replicated. Combined with GPS coordinates at the time of the tap, the system provides two independent layers of verification: you were at the right place (GPS) and you physically touched the tag (NFC cryptography).
Most communities are up and running in a day. Upload your property list (we accept spreadsheets in any common format), install the NFC tags at each property, and your patrol team can start verifying visits immediately. GuardMap handles the route optimization, scheduling, and reporting automatically.
Any modern smartphone with NFC capability works — that includes most Android phones and iPhones from the last several years. No special apps to install beyond the GuardMap mobile app. The NFC tags themselves are about the size of a coin and cost a few dollars each.
Officers can report issues directly through the app during their patrol — broken gates, suspicious activity, maintenance needs, anything. Each issue gets a severity level, is linked to the specific property, and shows up on the management dashboard immediately. Issues are tracked through resolution with a full audit trail.
Yes. Homeowners can log in to schedule vacation watches — extra property checks while they're traveling. They pick their dates, select optional add-on services (mail/package collection, light rotation, etc.), and the system automatically merges their request into the daily patrol route. They can also view visit history for their property.
Traditional guard tour systems just verify that someone walked a route. GuardMap is purpose-built for residential property patrol — it understands subdivisions, homeowner relationships, vacation watches, and community-specific needs. It combines route optimization, property management, team scheduling, and NFC verification into a single platform designed for HOA communities and the security companies that serve them.
